I grew up and have been around the water my whole life. Being in the water has always been a part of who I am. Throughout my life I have been able to teach myself and others how to be more confident and better prepared in the water. I was the captain of my high school swim team for 3 years and competed in local, state and national swim meets. Moving forward in life I decided to join the world's finest Navy, serving for a total of 7 1/2 years. During my time in the Navy, I took up surfing and free diving and was lucky enough to do this in many countries around the world while experiencing their culture. When my time in the Navy was over, I married (and have been happily married for going on 7 years) and began climbing the ranks of PADI by becoming PADI Staff Instructor for Scuba, Swim Instructor/Trainer and being a certified Lifeguard.

This is my life now just as it’s always been. I love the water and I want everyone to love, enjoy and respect the water as much as I do. I now teach swimming lessons to children and adults ranging in skill from beginner to competition swimmers as well as specific readiness training for the military personnel or just getting people ready for scuba diving. I also teach Scuba diving to beginners all the way up to the professional level. I also enjoy lifeguarding when time permits.

I’m so excited to be apart of your swimming journey! As a child I always loved being in and around water and as an adult nothing has changed. As a certified instructor and mother of 5, who has also taught her own kids to swim, we spend our time at the swimming pool or at the beach as much as possible. Any chance we can be in the water, we take it! I love the relaxation and health benefits water provides to your body. Swimming is such a wonderful way to exercise, as it is a low impact sport that can build endurance. It’s also a great way to provide stress management. I hope as you learn to swim your confidence in the water will begin to build and you’ll learn to love the water even more! Whatever your goals are in the water, I want to help you achieve them.
